ChatGPT Outage

The internet, a supposed network of redundancy and resilience, was reminded of its fragility on November 18, 2025, when a massive Cloudflare outage caused widespread disruption. Millions of users attempting to access major services like X (formerly Twitter), ChatGPT, Spotify, and Canva were met with the dreaded "Error 500" message.

OpenAI’s rollout of free access to ChatGPT Go in India sparked major excitement among users, but unexpectedly hit payment snags that left many unable to activate their subscriptions. The problem centered around the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) verification process, which several users said was failing despite successful payment confirmations.
