Sony launches first video authenticity tech for cameras
Sony has unveiled the industry's first camera authenticity solution compatible with video content, marking a significant milestone in the fight against AI-generated fake media. The technology, launched today, extends the company's existing content verification capabilities to video recording, making Sony the first camera manufacturer to offer C2PA-compliant authentication for both still images and moving pictures.
