A Fresh Cabin Experience Passengers departing from Mumbai to Dubai can now enjoy the airline’s new Premium Economy seats on the Boeing 777, in addition to Economy, Business, and First Class. Emirates is rolling out these refreshed planes not just in India, but also on select flights to Amman, Muscat, and Bahrain. The seats and interiors are designed to match what’s offered on their new Airbus A350 and retrofitted A380, so frequent flyers can depend on a familiar, upgraded product no matter the aircraft . Expanding Premium Economy Emirates already has more than 1.8 million Premium Economy seats in its network and expects to cross the 2 million mark by the end of 2025. By year’s end, 68 cities will have flights with these refreshed cabins, and 36 destinations will get them on every single Emirates flight. Amman and Bahrain, for example, will soon see all their flights operated with upgraded planes. Muscat will get Airbus A350s—complete with Premium Economy—for all its flights starting October 30 . Huge Retrofit Program This is part of a massive investment by Emirates: 67 aircraft have already been revamped, and 152 more are on the way. Emirates aims to retrofit a total of 219 jets (a mix of A380s and Boeing 777s), finishing one plane roughly every three weeks.
